Ami Grigg Clinical Director, Metairie Facility 6820 Veterans Blvd., Suite B New Orleans, LA 70006 P: (504)887-7463 F: (504)887-7115 Ami Grigg is a licensed physical therapist and is the Clinical Director at the Metairie Clinic for Performance Physical Therapy.  Miss Grigg’s undergraduate studies were completed at Loyola University where she graduated with honors, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.  Miss Grigg earned her Master of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University.  While pursuing her graduate degree, Miss Grigg conducted and presented research in which she studied safe lifting capacities in 11-14 year old children vs. approximate backpack weight.  After graduating, Miss Grigg worked 3 years in the acute care setting, and she specialized in Women’s Health Physical Therapy.  She has earned her certification to perform WorkSaver Pre-Placement Screenings and is undergoing the credentialing process to become a certified Clinical and Behavioral Based Ergonomic Specialist through the Industrial Safety and Rehabilitation Institute. Currently, Miss Grigg is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association, and is a member of the Women’s Health and Orthopaedic Sections.  In her spare time, the Oklahoma native enjoys outdoor activities, fishing, tennis, jogging and spending time with her family.
